My skin gets terribly dry in the winter. Ugh, my skin burns as I type this. I have tried in years past using different stuff, like olive oil, face lotion, etc., but nothing really works, though they help a little.

I also, even though I am 32 years old, still get acne. I get breakouts before my period, and it gets bad during the winter. So, my skin is this terrible mix of dryness, over-production of oil, and painful zits everywhere.

Any advice?

Does anyone know if Accutane is covered by Aetna?

Thanks.

I'm nineteen, and I've had the same bed since I was a kid. I'm trying to buy a double bed online, but it's all very confusing, I know nothing about any of this.

I hope you can help me, I have a question.

Okay so, all of the bed frames I look at state that the 'slatted bed base' comes seperately, as does the mattress. What is the slatted bed base, and why is it not included in the frame? Is it absolutely necessary to buy one? I kind of don't want to because they tend to be almost as expensive, if not more so than the frame itself. And I have to buy a mattress as well. All of this on my limited student budget is not ideal. I'm trying to pick the cheapest of everything, so if it is possible to avoid buying this 'bed base', then I shall.

Has anyone tried CoverGirl's new Exact Eyelights "eye brightening" eye liner? If so, do you have any pictures? CG recommends a brownish ruby-red for green eyes and this sounds a little wild but also intriguing. I have dark blonde hair, very very green eyes, and fair/rosy skin. My makeup routine is pretty basic and my makeup look is pretty subtle - brown eyeliner on my top lid, dark brown mascara, mauve lipstain that is just a little richer than my natural lip color. Some of the reviews on the website say the effect of this eyeliner is subtle, but I'm having trouble imagining that!

hello everyone!

does anyone know of a good green concealer? this concealer palette from make up for ever (and it's sephora brand counterpart) have mediocre ratings on makeupalley and i don't want to pay so much for something that does not have stellar reviews. i have acne-prone skin and red acne scars so I wanted a green concealer to try and help cover up blemishes and the scars.

department store or drugstore, doesn't matter! thanks :)\

*edit* I found the entry about this from about a week ago, but it only had a few responses as it had other questions in the entry. sorry for the repetitiveness, but I'm just hoping for more responses

i dont know what to do with my hair anymore. i havent gotten a perm since august. and so my hair is nappy as heck! but its falling out like crazy. everytime that i comb my hair, a lot comes out. i hate it. and i all my top hair is short. the one thing that really bothers me is that the pieces that are still permed, the ends, look really studip now. and thats all the lenght that i have now.

i know that i should cut it off. but i really dont have the money right now. and when i do get the money, i dont know how i should cut it. or do anything with it.

oh and i have to straighten it. mostly the front part.

I'm in a fairly long-distance relationship whilst I'm in uni.
However, I'll be going home for Christmas soon. Out of curiosity..

1. What is something sexually fun you've newly discovered with your partner?

2. What is your fail-safe, always exciting act/position/game/tip?

Just curious, so I can have some new suggestions to possibly try out with boy.
Thanks!

I checked the memories and didn't find anything about skin. My s/o and I had really great sex last night, but I didn't quite finish. After the fact, we noticed that my skin was noticeably softer and smoother than it was before, and it lasted for several hours. I doubt there's anything wrong, but has anyone experienced this before, or know why it happens? I'm really curious, mostly because I wish it'd stick around, lol.

Thanks in advance!

I'm transitioning and currently wearing a sew-in (w/ the periphery exposed) to give my natural hair edges a chance to grow out and catch up to my crown, sides, and the back of my head. Well, it's incredibly slow-going (although I'm sure my hair is benefiting from no flat irons/blow dryers)...my edges won't stop breaking and I know exactly why.

1) My hair has high porosity, meaning it's kind of brittle and breaks easily. Before you suggest more conditioner, it also means that my hair accepts moisture really easily but loses it just as easily...as in 20 minutes later the "moisture" is on my face and neck.

2) I get "fairy knots." If you don't know it's this (really effing annoying) natural hair phenomenon where your curly strands loop around themselves into a knot...as in EACH INDIVIDUAL STRAND has an immediate, f--king tight knot. Once it happens, all you can do is cut them, b/c the knot's contact w/ other curly strands can cause those strands to knot too or join the original knot. Ugh!

My longer hair in my crown and back of my head don't have this problem b/c they have permed ends still and the longer my hair is, the heavier it is, loosening the curls. But my edges are VERY short, so this happens ALL THE TIME. Cutting the knots/brittle feeling bits just makes it shorter and more susceptible. My edges will never grow at this point...they have everything against them! Does anybody have an suggestions on how to combat this?! It's so frustrating.
